Limerick City
go to storyOn the banks of the River Shannon, Limerick is Ireland’s third largest city and home to almost 25,000 third level students, giving the place an energetic and friendly feel. Moylish, one of our principal campuses, is just outside the city and is where more than 6,000 students are enrolled. Limerick is a fun, inclusive, and great place to study in, with a mix of sport, culture, and history that is hard to match.
Our Clare Street and George’s Quay campuses are home to Limerick School of Art & Design (LSAD), one of the longest-established centres of art and design education in Ireland. While just outside the city, Coonagh is the Mid West’s first engineering-focused higher education campus, and offers state-of-the-art learning and research facilities.
Athlone
go to storyAlso on the River Shannon, Athlone is a big town located in the heart of Ireland, and spans two counties and two provinces. Here you’ll find our other principal campus in what is a fun and friendly college town. We have over 200+ industry-focused courses available on a full-time, part-time, blended, and online basis which range from higher certificate right through to PhD.
With a population of 25,000, the town has everything you’d expect to find in a larger city. From large shopping centres, a leisure centre with a swimming pool and gymnasium, to sports facilities, skate park, bowling alley and cinema complex as well as theatres and an art gallery, you’ll be spoilt for things to do.
Thurles
go to storyThurles is a vibrant town in Ireland’s Midwest and is a, central, highly connected location in which to live and study. Our Thurles campus incorporates a 200-seater conference centre, lecture theatres, computer suites, science laboratories and specialist games development labs. With world-class strength and conditioning facilities in place at our ‘SportsLab’, the campus has built a reputation as a sporting and performance centre of excellence. The town itself also has a rich cultural and sporting pedigree, and is synonymous with the GAA and Semple Stadium, the spiritual home of hurling, which is also just a stone’s throw from our Thurles Campus.
Clonmel
go to storyA large town in South Tipperary, Clonmel has plenty of cafés, restaurants and lively pubs, and offers so much to do for the student population. Known as our Digital Campus, Clonmel showcases the technical focus and accessibility that TUS stands for. It provides a relaxed, friendly, yet creative learning space for students and is the centre for our popular and innovative degrees in Game Art & Design, Digital Animation Production, and Creative Media and Design. Work is also set to begin on the Clonmel Sports Hub which will include a 400-metre IAAF standard athletics track, skatepark, walkways and cycleways. South Tipperary is also famous for hiking and walking and is an ideal base for students who love the peace and serenity of the great outdoors.
Ennis
go to storyEnnis is one of the largest urban centres in Ireland’s Midwest and is a town steeped in history, culture, and education. Our Ennis Campus is located on Bindon Street in the heart of town. Here, you can study Social Care Work degrees at Level 8 and Level 7 available through the CAO. The newly refurbished campus building, with all its historic charm, now has brand new modern facilities. Our small class sizes and friendly atmosphere ensures students can gain the most from their TU experience in Clare, while benefitting from essential spaces for lectures, study and recreation.
