Mr. Gerry Callaghan, former Volunteer of the Year, and Chairperson of New Horizon, Refugee and Asylum Seeker charity will present a lecture on his reflections of working with international protection applicants in the midlands for over 20 years. Mr. Keith Payne, a distinguished poet and author, will introduce his new book entitled ‘Tales my Granny Told Me’. This book chronicles the rich native folklore of international protection applicants living in Ireland.
